The candidate who has passed Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (10+2) with Medical/Non Medical subjects or its equivalent Examination with 55% marks in aggregate from any recognized Board/University shall be eligible to join the first semester of B.Sc. (Hons.) in Chemistry course.
Overview
BSc Program is designed as per UGC norms considering Choice Based Credit System. The Program is offered in such a way that student from any combination in BSc, (ie. BSc- Medical with botany, zoology and chemistry or BSc- non-medical with Physics, chemistry and Maths) can opt for BSc (Hons) in chemistry. Candidate will receive Honours degree if he/she takes extra papers (other than medical/ non-medical combinations) in one particular subject i.e. Chemistry. The syllabus is developed keeping in view the requirement of Chemistry and other subjects at undergraduate level to enhance their analytical ability and problem solving approach.
