Overview

B.Sc. (Radiography & Imaging Technology) is an Undergraduate Program offered by Maharishi Markandeshwar University. This branch of allied health sciences has come a long way since last two decades, due to the advent of newer machineries with better diagnostic modalities, which help in the diagnosis and treatment of most of the medical and surgical disorders. This field deals with the use of sophisticated technology in medical imaging and cancer treatment. It has various sub specialties such as Radiology, Radiotherapy & Nuclear medicine. Students of this program are taught Human Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, General physics & electronics, Atomic & nuclear physics, Mathematics, Pathology, Community medicine, Radiation oncology and Radio diagnosis. The scope for professionals in this field is ample in both rural and urban setting. They can select the job setting from a corporate hospital to a small nursing home. The department of Radiology at MM Institute of Medical Sciences and Research has the state of the machinery giving the best clinical exposure a student can get. An all-round development of the students is ensured through the balanced blend of curricular and extracurricular activities. B.Sc. (Radiography & Imaging Technology)

The candidate should have passed Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) of a Board of School Education, Haryana or an examination recognized as equivalent to there or Senior Secondary Examination(12th), PreMedical or Plus Two or an equivalent examination from any Indian/Foreign Universities/Boards with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects in the qualifying examination and should have attained the age of 17 years or more on December 31st of the year of admission.

B.Sc. (Radiography & Imaging Technology) Lateral Entry

The candidate who has passed 3 years diploma after Matric or two years diploma after 10+2 shall be eligible for admission to the relevant branch of B.Sc. (MLT) in 2nd year through lateral entry. The diploma course should be recognized by MMDU

Note:

  1. The Fee will have to be deposited at the time of Counselling.
  2. University Charges will be extra as per University norms.
  3. Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
  4. There will be an annual increase of 7% in tuition fee.
  5. Students Fund for all the students is Rs.2,000/- p.a.
  6. Life time Alumni Membership fee is Rs. 4,000/-.
  7. Hostel & Transport Charges will be extra.
  8. Students who wish to leave the Institute mid-stream, will have to deposit the fee for the remaining period of the course as per judgement of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Islamic Academy of Education and others Vs State of Karnataka & PA lnamdar case.
