The candidate should have passed Bachelor in Pharmacy with minimum least 55% marks (50% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying Examination.

M. Pharm. or Master of Pharmacy is a postgraduate academic degree which is awarded for a course or program in the field of pharmacy. M. Pharmacy has various specializations like Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy, Clinical Pharmacy, Industrial Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance, Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs, Pharmaceutical Biotechnology and Pharmacy Practice. M. Pharmacy is divided into number of semester. Students attend lectures and seminars and take part in practical pharmacy placements. After the end of semester, there is an examination for each semester. Students are also required to submit a thesis at the end of course. During the following year of study student work on their thesis. The programme is concluded by defending the thesis and taking the final examination. After that students are awarded the master's degree. M.
