Literary Club EXPRESSIONS of Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Mullana, organized a one day workshop on Professional Communication Skills on April 1, 2017. The purpose was to meet the requirements of the companies as job market needs good communicators that too in English in this highly professional and informational scenario. Communication is the life and blood of any organization and with this purpose students were motivated to learn communication skills, team building skills, leadership skills and interpersonal skills.
Prof. Raj Pinjani (Dean and Director, MM Institute of Management) was the chief guest on the occasion. He highlighted the importance of communication skills by saying that "communication is the soul of our existence". Dr. Tanu Gupta , Coordinator of Litrary Club was the key note speaker. Other dignitaries present were - Dr. Deepak Gupta, Dr. Vandana Sharma, Dr. Gunjan Agarwal, Madam Prabha Garg , Mr. Sam Nikkam and many more. Around 100 students participated in the workshop.
Mr. Om Kanojia, Training Head, conducted team building activities for the students. During one such activity, the students were asked to make projects in teams and were asked to explain their projects. Group discussion activities were also conducted.
The workshop on the whole was a great success and the students enjoyed a lot.
