Pledge taken by students of M.M.University, Mullana on the occasion of ‘Quit India Movement’ anniversary and Independence Day Celebrations

In order to celebrate the 75th year of "Quit India movement” and 70th year of India’s Independence, today the 9th August, 2017 the entire faculty, students and non-teaching staff of the MMU, Mullana and its constituents institutions assembled in the Auditorium of the University and took the following pledge under the chairmanship of Registrar:

“Let us together pledge for a New India.

In 1942 our freedom fighters took a pledge of ‘Quit India’ and in 1947 India achieved Independence.

Let us together pledge that by 2022 we build a New India.

Let us together pledge towards a Clean India.

Let us together pledge towards a Poverty free India.

Let us together pledge towards a Corruption free India.

Let us together pledge towards a Terrorism free India .

Let Us together pledge towards a Communalism free India.

Let us together pledge towards a Casteism free India.

Together let us strive whole heartedly to accomplish this pledge for a New India”

 

The assembly also committed to bring a change in creating Clean India, Poverty free India, Corruption free India, Terrorism free India, Communalism free India and Casteism free India as a part of this pledge.
