MMDU introduces BSC Food Science with Specialization in Food Technology and Nutrition and Dietetics

 

Good news for food Sciences enthusiasts! MMDU, one of the best universities of Haryana, will be introducing two new programs in BSC Food Science; one with Specialization in Food Technology and the other one with Specialization in Nutrition and Dietetics. Both the programs will be offered by MMICT & BM (Hotel Management) which established in the year 2002 and is now recognized as the best one in North India for its professional courses in the field of Culinary and Hospitality Sector. MMICT & BM (Hotel Management) has been in the News for getting the First rank in the state and Second rank in the category of Excellence as per 2019 Hotel Management Institute Survey done by GHRDC, the coveted Global Human Resource Development Centre. These rankings reflect the MMDU’s prowess and unwavering commitment to setting high standards of education especially in professional fields related to Hotel Management and food Sciences.

 

MMDU is now introducing these two program to enhance knowledge and skills of nutrition and to develop critical evaluation skills through an integration of nutrition, dietetics (therapeutic nutrition) and research. With ever-increasing emphasis on curative healthcare, food and diet are getting a lot of attention these days, from celebrities to common people alike. Dietician and Nutritionists are earning not just handsomely in terms of money, but also a lot of fame and stature in the society.

 

So both the programs are industry specific and job oriented. Students who have passed class twelfth exams in Science or Humanities stream are eligible to apply for the program.
