I extend cordial welcome to the readers to Maharishi Markandeshwar (Deemed to be University), Mullana-Ambala (MM(DU)), a established under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956. MM(DU) was incorporated with the Gazette Notification of MHRD, Govt. of India in 2007 and has established its credentials in whole of the country as one of the most preferred destination for admission not only seekers in more than 150 contemporary, modern and innovative courses in medicine, dental sciences, nursing, pharmacy, physiotherapy, engineering & technology, management, computer applications, hotel management, law etc. MM(DU) is strategically located on Ambala-Jagadhri Highway with convenient connectivity through air, rail and road with the whole country. The green and serene campus is spread over 150 acres of land having over 35,00,000 sqft covered area consisting of academic infrastructure with state of the art labs, 930 bedded teaching hospital, girls and boys hostels with capacity of 6000 seats, 500+ residences, 16-acre modern sports complex, shopping centres, banks, post office and world class auditorium of 1500 capacity. MM(DU) has 1300+ qualified, experienced and committed faculty members who nurture 10000+ students to become highly competitive professionals and better human beings.

I would like to stress that there are four essential take-away by graduates from a university namely knowledge, skills, behavior and attitude.
