Lynn Robert Carter has over two decades of industrial software development and research experience at major companies, including Tektronix, Motorola, and GenRad.
He had 23 years as a full-time member of the Carnegie Mellon University community, including 11 years at the Software Engineering Institute; 5 years designing, implementing, and operating the innovative Software Engineering Professional Master's Degree for Carnegie Mellon University's campus in Silicon Valley; 5 years at CMU’s Qatar campus in Doha; and 2 years as iCarnegie’s Chief Academic Officer.
Since leaving CMU, he has consulted and worked for Touro College, Aspen University, XTOL, IIIT/Hyderabad, and Carter | Radley in support of it’s work at MMU.
