The Candidates should have passed: B.Sc. (Hons.)/ B.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / B.Sc. with concerned subject from any recognized University, securing at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks in case of SC/ ST candidates)

MSc in Pharmaceutical chemistry is a post graduate pharmacy course. Pharmaceutical chemistry, which disciplines at the intersection of chemistry, especially synthetic organic chemistry, pharmacology and various other biological specialities. It involves the design, chemical synthesis and development of market of pharmaceutical drugs. The duration of course is two years with 103 credits. The course is available in full time and the syllabus of the course is divided into 4 semesters. This course directly provides the opportunity to the students to seek his/her career in various pharmaceutical drug companies and also to the research and development branches of government oriented institutions.
